Solid shampoo - does it work ? Is it any good ?

Our Marseille solid shampoo has been with us for for a few years now and its a firm favourite amongst our customers….. it’s always a good thing when customers keep coming back for repeat purchases .

So lets take a look at this shampoo bar - or disc 

This is a  "cold process shampoo" equal to more than 2ltr of liquid - and will last you a very long time, this has a completely neutral composition that will cater for all types of hair, it foams very fast and you will not need to use much, does not go mushy.

This shampoo is composed of an active surfactant from coconut, the softest that exists, white clay, cocoa butter, organic argan oil and candelilla wax. Without perfume. 80 grams.

The shampoo ingredients represent a very “clean deck” and tick all the right ethical boxes.

How do I use it ?

Lather the wet shampoo directly in the hair in a reduced quantity, massage the scalp, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.

One common challenge is to not use too much - and its very tempting to do so - only a few swirls of the head to get a lather going is needed - try and avoid the temptation to rub too much onto your head.

Only used this once so far but my hair feels fine. It isn't dry or fly away which was my main concern. I actually liked the lower lather level and better control over the amount to use. And hurray no plastic bottle

I usually only wash my hair with water as most shampoos just strip any oils out and leave my hair looking and feeling pretty bad. However very happy indeed with this soap bar. lathers well and makes your hair feel clean and soft but not like it's just been washed if you know what I mean. Absolutely amazing. Hair soft, easy to brush. I've never ever got this result even with expensive shampoo. Best thing about this bar- no need to rinse with apple cider.
