Why Copper?

Copper is a naturally soft metal — firm enough to tackle stuck-on food, grease, and residue on pots, pans, and kitchen utensils, yet gentle enough not to scratch even delicate surfaces. Unlike steel wool, copper does not rust, does not leave grey streaks on stainless steel, and does not shed abrasive particles that can damage non-stick coatings. It is also naturally antimicrobial — copper’s inherent properties inhibit the growth of bacteria on the pad’s surface, keeping it cleaner between uses than conventional sponges or steel alternatives.
