Make your own Liquid Hand or Body Soap

  • 1 min read

Yes you can !

We are asked alot why we do not sell liquid soap - well the answer to that is simple - the containers are plastic and thats against our company ethos.

However there is a simple solution to this - use our vegetable oil soap flakes and simple make your own !

Repurpose an old container that you have - we imagine you can find some lovely old containers that would be fabulous as a liquid soap holder.....

The process is very much like when you make our soap flakes.... and really all we are doing here is stopping the transportation of water and plastic - because thats what the vast majority of a liquid soap is - and prepare at home instead with the bare essential ingredients using your own containers you love.

Process:

  • Heat 250ml of water (to simmer) and turn the heat down before adding 50g of our grated soap (or flakes).
  • Stir and then wait until the mix has cooled down
  • Pour it in a sterilised container of your choice.
  • As for the consistency you wish to have, you can simply adjust the amount of water used.

Its that simple, and of course why not add a few drops of essential oil of your choice to add a fragrance.
