Merry Christmas,
It has been a very challenging year for everyone, however there have also been some fabulous examples of human kindness, people coming together, supporting each other in new and different ways, and adapting to new ways of working.
We started in markets and events, and sadly that side of the business is now taking a rest, however we do not want to be just another " faceless" online business.........we want to maintain being accessible to everyone..........
The interaction and communication with our customers is critical to us and that personal touch and connection is never going to change, we will always try to answer you ourselves........
Part of our online philosophy is always to stay as close to you our customers as we can, that human touch we believe is so important to maintain.
Both my wife (Liese) and I have been travelling to France on a annual basis since we were teenagers - so long ago ! - and buying French Soaps as it happened - so once the opportunity came along for us to do something different we made the leap to create this business now known as Chateau du Savon.....
We both had successful corporate careers in the fast moving consumer goods market working with major brands and fabulous companies, all of that retail experience has helped us immensely with the development of this business.
These beautiful French soaps can be very hard to find in the UK and to so many people that discover them for the very first time, we have always tried to keep the same type of deal you would find in a French Market, whilst they are luxury soaps they should be affordable and accessible for everyone, alongside our strong eco ethos that prevents us from selling plastic bottles etc.........( why just transport water anyway when you can make your own for 1/4 of the price ! )
We have been building a very wide range of premium quality eco essential accessories ever since, and with well over 300 lines we now have something for everyone......
In just a few weeks time we will be launching a whole host of new and exciting products - so watch out for the newsletters, we have big plans for 2021.....
The heart of the business is our customers, and we are delighted to have put so many smiles on faces this year ! a little delight on some dark days..............we also love to provide what we call " random acts of human kindness" free soaps, free deliveries or money back just when you least expect it ! on a random basis !
